Prenatal Alignment Class

6 Week Series of Restorative Exercise and Education
lead by Jillian Nicol, Restorative Exercise Specialist and Susanne Reinhold, Restorative Exercise and Pre/Postnatal Fitness Specialist. 

This brand-new class series combines exercise with education on how to move your body in a health-promoting, biologically optimal way.

Classes in week 1, 3 and 5 focus on the education part and you will learn the science of whole body alignment as it relates to pregnancy and birth. You will find out what you can do every day to avoid common pregnancy aches and pains and get the best birth experience possible. You will learn some basic first exercises and new movement strategies that you can take home and start incorporating into everyday living.

Classes in week 2, 4 and 6 take you through a fluid exercise/stretching class with the exercises being based on the alignment principles you learned the week before.

This class is suitable for women in first, second or third trimester or if you are trying to get pregnant. If you have back, pelvic, foot, neck, .... pain, this is for you. If your core feels weak, this is for you. If you can't laugh without risking a leakage, this is for you. If you want to prepare your body for a natural birth, this is for you. If you are going to have a C-section and want to get your body into the best possible shape to recover quickly, this is for you. If you want to attempt a VBAC, this is for you. If you have a perfectly healthy and active pregnancy and want to keep it like that, this class is also for you.

Fee includes all 6 classes and material.
