Having experienced lower back pain since my first pregnancy, I was eager for some relief and healing in my second pregnancy. X-rays taken after my first pregnancy didn't indicate a problem, yet sitting often felt excruciating. I began my (Prenatal Alignement) class 30 weeks into my second pregnancy and immediately incorporated the alignment stance and suggestion for footwear into my life. I also made use of the half-circle prop provided to class participants while on a 7 hour car trip. The result after 1 week: a significant reduction in my pain and increase in my awareness of my body and alignment! So glad to have found (this class)!
After many efforts to strengthen my core and close my diastasis, Susanne has taught me a successful method. I now understand how to work "smarter, not harder". I am mindful of how I move my body. I am able to stretch gently and consistently in a way that has reduced the pain in my lower back. I am able to work my transverse muscles correctly. I am delighted to feel my diastasis slowly closing. My self confidence is improving and I am so thankful to Susanne for this change in my life!
